MEDIC VISION SECURES CONTRACT FOR NATIONAL DEMONSTRATION CENTRE FOR ENDOSCOPY TRAINING

The Board of Medic Vision Ltd (Medic Vision) is pleased to announce that Medic Vision has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Chines Medical Doctor Association (CMDA), Hua Xi Hospital and Sichuan University to develop and manage its training facility at Hua Xi Hospital. This will be one of the first training and assessment demonstration centres in China in the field of endoscopic skills. The centre will be built and run in accordance with international standards.

In addition, Mr Billy Chan, Asia Pacific General Manager, is currently working on an initial roll out of Medic Vision products and services to more than 20 centres over the next 3 years based on the Hua Xi development. The minimum setup cost for one centre is approximately $500,000 USD plus ongoing management revenues. This is just the early stages of the deployment.

This is an initiative of the Chinese Ministry of Health (MOH) to improve medical professional training, and in conjunction with the CMDA they are assessing prospective medical specialist training centres and organisations across the country. These will be evaluated by the CMDA and accredited by standards set by MOH.

One of the first steps for the CMDA is to establish this demonstration centre as the blue print for other centres in China.
