Cook said the market didn't recognise how game-changing the contract was. Fox said that Australian investors didn't know how to value Biota (and the BARDA contract), and that we needed to move to the USA to realise value.

In the USA we never even got to a $1 Aussie equivalent, the price that Fox said undervalued Biota significantly.

maybe the market in Australia and US never valued the BARDA contract because they knew that the rug could be pulled at any time depending on what political wind was blowing.
