QRSciences (QRS), a developer of Quadrupole Resonance (QR) based
explosive detection systems, announces that it has been awarded its
first prime contract with the US Transportation Security Administration
(TSA), an agency of the US Department of Homeland Security.
Mr Kevin Russeth, CEO of QRSciences, said, "This opens a big
door for the Company and takes our relationship with the US Government
to a new level.
"It's a major milestone for any Australian company to be chosen
as a prime contractor by the US Government."
Under the scope of the contract, the details of which are
security sensitive, QRSciences will carry out the initial work at its
Perth facility and complete the contract at a yet to be determined
airport location in the United States.
