In addition to the normal bin liners, we use probably 6-10 normal Coles plastic shopping bags per week for lining small bins around the house etc.

Even if the contents are not compostable, the bags holding the contents should be.

So there are actually two opportunities/thoughts here:

1/ As Breville are thinking - offering consumers who need to dispose of pulp, the option to purchase fully and quickly compostable bags. These can then go in the green bin. This offers customers a fully enviro-friendly solution.

2/ The bigger picture where we ("the planet") seek to minimise the amount of non-compostable garbage bags that are used by each household (for obvious reasons). Imagine the stats on the amount of bags used for rubbish disposal per day/week/year per country/globally?
