Flummoxed, the Lebledparle article just enlightened me to the likelihood that things have accelerated exponentially (borrowing your word) since the signing of the binding infrastructure contracts in Yaounde on 25 February.
If as I speculate the CISA cornerstone 2025 plan is related to the ANS project partners (given the plan explicitly refers to heavy hitters like BaoWu and Minmetals), then China isn't going to waste a moment in stitching up those giant offtake supply contracts.
These world largest companies having years of familiarization with the world class resources (remember Cameroon government trip to Shanghai visiting Ding's partners way back) are very knowledgeable in their commercial and strategic value. They would know the DFS back to front. LOL
IMO, given the infrastructure solution is now a reality, the Chinese won't waste any time given the intensifying geopolitical threat to her economy as a result of the over dependency on one import source.
