WPL though are active participants no matter which way you look at it just as FAR and CNE are just as the Senegal oil company are.

WPL have put in 35% of costs since the COP/WPL sale which would amount to a vast some of money.
IMO this will not be unwound and I very much doubt if this ever gets to arbitration that the arbiters will unwind it either.
WPL are already involved in the decision making and FAR have no problem with that, which they have reiterated.
FAR alone have initiated proceedings it must be remembered and there has been no announcement yet that the process has passed the initial phase of looking at the merits of their complaints or the merits of COP's defence of the sale.
That's the first part of the process so until it gets past that phase its probably a pointless discussion.

Practically every commentator recognise WPL's involvement except the FAR forum.
IMO the best result FAR are hoping for is some sort of compensation from COP and as Cath famously said it would be like unscrambling an egg.
FAR have already said they never had the money to back this up so you have to wonder what is the point of all this upset.

DJ in the last presentations did not even get a mention, the best mil spent remember.
The deal there was to shoot some 3D then hand it over to qualify in their percentage of the permit.
FAR have not done that as they say its being evaluated, STILL.
You cant tell me that this expert group in the company still cant make up their minds if the 3D is worth a farm in.
Now they are looking at the 3D in A2/A5 and say they are excited.....go figure.
Are they just as excited with that as they were with DJ......they say they are.

Then we have announcements due to pressure from an oil publication with retorts that are as vague as you can get and can mean anything either way.
I think as I'm a shareholder I am entitled to have an opinion of what I believe is totally unsatisfactory.
I could don a pair of rose coloured glasses and see there is nothing wrong here but with only 500 thousand shares and only in to make a bit of money medium term, management need to be questioned
