A week or so later FAR were still claiming it required gov. approval??
If WPL knew all their ducks were lined up there is no way IMO they would " make sure FAR knew ". They would just let FAR walk in to the bear trap.
This is a massive assumption that FAR are not in constant contact with the gov.
I just don't buy that. 8 months after the deal settles they come out with a price sensitive announcement saying they are " participating ".
What had they been doing for the 8 months prior?
Why, if everything is all set are they not operator?
Why the change in language....." development lead " ?
How could FAR possibly block WPL from being operator if they can vote on it?
CNE/WPL have 75%?
Clearly they can't or they would have by now. That begs the question why?
The only reason I can come up with is they don't have gov approval. DB
