The good old Aussie200 is from what ive been told from dealers at cmc a mix of the spi and the xjo with there own bit of what they call fair value thrown in....which of course makes it bloody hard to track at times with the spi moving quite a decent amount before the actual index does at times, which can freak you out if all your watching is the xjo and not the spi. They used to tell you what the percentage was for there fair value but have stopped giving out that info to me anyway.....probably because i and many others used to go nuts at them when there spread made no sence.
I have asked cmc if they intend to release a product that either mimicks the xjo or the spi and was told a flat no which is a shame, so if you want the real thing open a futures account and pay some commish...at least you know where your at.
