Contradictions in politics

There will be many examples of stunning contradictions
but the one that stands out for me is Abbott’s reaction
to Gillard’s Misogyny speech but when calls were being
made from within his own party to replace his Chief of Staff(COS),
Abbott strongly came to her defence and suggested they would
not be doing that if the COS was a Peter instead of a Peta.

The inference being that the issue existed because the COS was a woman
instead of a man.

He basically pointed the misogyny type finger at his own colleagues.
