It doesnt happen as often or as predatory as it may sound imo. If it did it would imply they constantly buy which is not the case...
As such it is also very difficult to prove such "manipulation" which in my opinion it is...
Take note this can also be reversed aswell by building the buy side with the intention of a dump...the amount of units in question with the SM these games are neccissary so that they dont KILL the stock when they want to sell and dont want to buy chunks which appreciate the price per line wipe...hence the games so they get a good avg sell price or avg buy price
All in my opinion but the theory is sound
