Santos may be silly enought to offer $1.40, after all they offered $1.28 for QGC, and look where it got them. All this shorting must have been for some purpose. I thought it's a game all Financial Advisors play when they want to get the lowest possible start price for a target company. If that is the case with ESG they have shot themselves in the foot. Its no use saying we will offer you $1.28 thats 40% above average price, shareholders will just laugh and wait for the next offer, myself I expect at least what QGC got but it should be more, as the product and its prospects are much better understood now.
