Agree.
Their technology is not ready for commercialization. Despite the test results. Which is part of my point. CPV has lower efficiency, high production costs, high installation costs, there is no definitive data to justify commercial viability.
If you look at the Tesla roof tiles that generate electricity, there's costings and comparisons to slate roof tiles, etc. It's a premium product that makes for a very expensive roof, but only slightly more expensive than slate roof tiles, but the insulation and electricity generated, justifies the slightly extra cost, when compared to slate tiles.
If the Vicinity installation was paid by Vicinity, the faulty product would have to be replaced. Would the replacement have to be paid by Clearvue? Who pays for product that does not perform to warranty? Were the faults predictable? The performance data points to a commercially nonviable product.
