Yes :- Coal!
When used in a Power station, it produces energy more efficiently than:
1. Chopping down the rain forests in the third world for cooking / heating fuel.
2. Burning coal directly for cooking / heating fuel.
3. Using oil to run tractors to grow crops that are processed into biofuel for transport
4. Running CTL plants to produce fuel for transport.
Not to mention the reduction in war casualties and damage that will be avoided from the ever increasing oil conflict.
Coal baby - yeah!
