I might add that sometimes it appears some people are inherently averse to success.

That is, when an ambitious small company has a go & actually starts winning, I'm continually amazed by the number of knockers that so often then chime in. It seems to be almost (a sad) part of the Australian culture, to denigrate or belittle others that are succeeding. This includes not only individuals but companies as well.

Why is this, I wonder? For example, in eBet's case, it's on the verge of becoming one of the largest cashless gaming enterprises in the world, after its strategically brilliant buy out of its major Australian competitor. Following on from this overnight doubling of its customer base, eBet will never again make a quarterly loss, but will be EPS profitable from now on.

EBT's overseas deals are terrific as well. It receives a net 3 per cent of all gaming turnover with minimal outlays from every bet placed on both the Playboy racing site

    https://racingusa.playboy.com/

as well as the increasingly popular Yahoo sports betting site

    Yet still, it's criticised.

Why aren't folks proud of this little Aussie company that's finally making good, after having battled its way through one of the worst bear markets in over 60 years?
