My understanding from reading the LNC listing requirements on the Singapore Stock Exchange imposed by MAS ( Monetary Authority of Singapore )

Peter Bond's companies which hold appox 40% of LNC Energy have had all of his holdings placed in embargo for 6 months from the listing date.
1) Cannot sell any shares.
2) Cannot lend any shares.

Please read the listing requirements yourself this will perhaps put your mind at ease regarding CS hedging of Convertible Note Issue.
C.S. will no longer be able to place a call on LNC shares to short against their bond holding.
