I don't care if you buy, sell or sing, but you may find this clipping from The Australian interesting:

"The Coalition is yet to announce details of its main clean-energy support funding, which is expected to include an extension of its $500 million low-emissions technology development fund (LETDF) and about $200 million for new clean-coal research. To date, its main commitment in this area has been $75 million towards new and emerging renewable technologies."

Australia has too many billions of dollars in coal infrastructure for it to be simply phased out in our lifetime. With such a renewed focus of the impact of carbon emissions (Australia is the worst country ranked on an emission per capita basis), there has to be a degree of harm-minimisation applied to coal usage.

I can assure you there is no ramping here, you'd have to be a pretty big buyer to influence the value of my $500 parcel.
