You have all convinced me that the price of the stock over a short term period of 10 years or less is not important. What is important is management and how they communicate how well the company is doing. Even if the stock goes to 50 cents, it does not matter as long as the company is doing well and they keep on putting out products and that they all get paid.
BTW...the company philosophy is ... if a sales person makes quota or beats it, they will raise the quota so that at the beginning of the following year they will not even be close to making quota and they are not incentivized to even go out and sell. And if they do try, the formula now depends on the division and the company....2 to 3 years later, the successful sales people leave and go elsewhere.
Who cares about the price of the stock in the short term (10 years or less)? ME.
