The National Road Freight Association is one of the organizers, maybe even the original instigator, but I can assure you that others with agendas are also jumping on the bandwagon. Now chickpea, how and why would so called struggling small business people take a week off to go to a freezing Canberra to achieve nothing other than stage a demonstration? IMO they wouldn't waste their time unless there was some political force driving them. The PM should talk to them if they invite her to do so but if she accepted their invitation they would be obliged to be polite and listen. I really can't see that happening can you? Dave R.
