Nato has the capacity to drive the Russians out of Ukraine with conventional weapons. It has no motive to escalate the situation to a nuclear war. Putin on the other hand has clearly stated his intentions he is prepared to go nuclear. He can't afford a long drawn out conflict. His soldiers morale and support from the Russian public will crumble. He cant afford to lose gear and men. He needs to maintain momentum. If that convoy is not getting through to Kyiv then the plan to take the capital is possibly failing (though there are numerous possibilities). How long till plan B?
