You should email them about it for some sort of an explanation. I have found they respond readily to emails. This was a comment released to the ASX and should have been reliable and accurate as most people, myself included just took it for fact. However I am also taking your figures for fact since I can not check this morning, so you be sure or they might correct you instead! Otherwise then either Cook has some longer term data to back this up, or he was misunderstood in some way, or he made a mistake or mislead. I would like to hear a response on which it is.
If they admit it was wrong then I would feel some correction to ASX was warranted, as such a misleading release could impact investors decisions and companies have been held responsible legally for misleading statements even in error. I don't know much on such rules, and would not make a big stink about it, but certainly feel it is worth following up if you are right.
I am out after the last sales, not because they were so low, but it made me realise how little information BTA get from GSK. There is a lot of expectation on a future Lani deal, and if they don't do as well as what people expect again then I see another drop. If they do a good deal I will miss the initial jump, but it should give good longer term growth still.
You should email them about it for some sort of an explanation....
