    Labor

    1. Failed gas policy (they thought they didn't need gas and could go green until they didn't).
    2. Failed Heritage Act (they thought they would propose legislation until they realised it was doomed to fail and then reversed it).
    3. Now they are trying to ban gas exports (until they realise that this will defer gas projects and pose a risk to supply, that they are trying to increase). The irony here is if they hadn't have meddled with 1 and 2 above, they'd never need to try this.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the left wing loonies.

As I said earlier, I'm done with any further investments in Australia. It simply poses too much sovereign risk.

If others move their investment away, the Labor govt might somehow manage to make WA import dependent on gas.

There is a reason the US equity market achieves significantly greater returns (and for lower sovereign risk)
