It is with a sense trepidation that I peruse the bullish comments on my beloved BCN thread.

As a LT holder I can only stress caution with this recent price spike. Whilst I am excited about today's announcement, I also understand the machinations of the mining industry, where momentum builds on drill results and corrects once investors realise it will be a long time before we can feel the cold weight of gold in our hands.

My analysis of the metrics over the course of the last few hours suggests huge upside, but I won't be bolstering my holding until we see the results of the 2nd drilling stage scheduled to start tomorrow.

My position in the interim: cautious optimism.
