Queried my brkr 23/03 on these; I'm still undecided but think they are close to a buy for return & some cap + IMHO.
Depends what yr invstm't strategy is, short ; med ; long ?

Like Millers, PBG is having to deal with severe price discounting and volatile markets. Half-yearly results note the following negatives:
Ø December sales were below expectations (however may have started picking up)
Ø Volatile exchange rates (higher $AUD has plus and minuses for PBG
Ø High input cost; cotton, oil, freight, distribution
Ø Potential benefits from duty and tariff reductions from 1 Jan 05 affected by reintroduction of Chinese export tax on certain garments
In view of the above and the current market (ie All Ords has almost lost all of Feb and Mar gains in 2 days), I’d leave PBG alone. Better in cash just for the moment.
