I don't blame COE one bit for not finding oil at Kurnia - that is the deal at the roulette wheel. I do not however believe the execution was flash, nor the extent of our costs for a free carry. Fairbridge? in PEL100 was also a bit messy a couple of years ago.

COE have not "operated" much else, therefore I say "where are their credentials for the complexities of operating a new gas field development, and operating a mature producing field on the other side of the world in addition to the Tunisian and Indonesian permits?"

Operations on five continents, in five countries, six jurisdictions. All a bit of of a stretch imho for a management team that has found operating the drilling of one well at a time in their own time zone a full stretch.

COE has a great BASE from which to grow, provided it does not overstretch or allow hubris to take over.
