    I think the comparison to COE is a good one. You can also say the same for ELK which just tanked on a good report, but not as good as the market was expecting. It was overdue too. However, the one common difference with the recent build up in both these oil plays is volume. When you compare the COE build up to announcement and the CVN build up I think we can all agree that there is a signicant difference in volume....CVN experiencing an increase whilst COE did not. It is obvious there are some very big trades going through on CVN at the moment. Maybe intitutional, maybe a new major shareholder, maybe experienced traders punting with $200.$300k parcels.
    All I'm saying is bigfish are still buying, which means there is still much confidence beyond the delay in announcement. Definately something to consider.

    I also believe that technically CVN is ripe for a run. I am only a basic chartist, but the weekly chart looks a little more promising that COE's did before its recent fall.

    None the less DYOR, as my opinions are not advise.
