Besides, there's a set protocol for the Operator/JV to lodge their annual plans & budget with the locals. So first up u tend to go easy then shoot 3D & then appraise a discovery, followed by a DoC & then exploitation drilling.

U got to keep the locals in the loop too as its their resource & for Senegal its their first offshore project. Wonder if Prez Saul & Mamdou will fly aboard the Athena for their first oil flow. Worth a photo shoot atleast for the entourage.
