3)Oil isnt coming back down and polutes. Coal polutes. Gas polutes a bit less but is a bit more expensive. Solar isnt yet cost effective(though some companies such as SLX are close to changing that). Wind is costly and has probably reached its full potential. Nuclear has obvious problems with disposal of spent fuel.
Geothermal is well infront of the field at the moment. It requires a high initial investment and some early risks but once the right sight is found it produces the cleanest and cheapest power of any kind and its baseload. When carbon pricing comes in it will give MW generating geothermals superior profits to any other energy producer. PC43 you douche.
