now that is interesting question. Why do they need us? Yes now that stage 1 is up and going it does swing the balance back in our favour.
it was always mooted that we had the only flat land for evaporation ponds - the do t know how true this is or if DLE makes it relevant. Will stage 2 be DLE? I hope so from what I read, but recoveries and tech need to get better.
we own the land in the Salar - just not the CEOL/resource from 0-200m. I’m not certain about 200-400m on Litho - can anyone confirm if this is grandfather or CEOL?
we are the most advanced in terms of knowledge and drilling - call it turn key. This would be advantageous. I have always thought that a take over would come from a company with a CEOL from the latest bid. That company brings the right to exploit the resource - LPI have the land.
