Thailand has a history of instability, on the whole life goes on.
Being in Laos doesn't make them immune however.
Output is shipped thru Sriracha Harbour[120km S/E of Bangkok].
Also,in the longer term, a government not very attached to the rule of law, may place some of the value in their Thai possessions at risk.
