A PoC of $US15,000t matches my sentiments - producers and holders will do very well.
We have seen Li, Co and Ni sink like stones on oversupply. Meanwhile IO is back at $140t so BHP, RIO and FMG are making plenty.
Metals are not a single market.
I have sworn off battery metals as there are so many valid ingredient permutations, serious supply/demand imbalances look unlikely - though I expect staggering demand for batteries, big and small.
This is not true of Cu and Al. There are no economic substitutes and serious observers are predicting shortages, even though both are today in the doldrums, price-wise. See: Alcoa Kwinana Alumina refinery.
Get yourself set. My faves: S32, SFR, A1M.
