it's my opinion recycling will only be a very small fraction of the market into the future, the thirst for electric will increase exponentially over the coming years, where copper supply will have to increase to meet the demand. I don't think this is rocket science only stating the obvious. Copper will be a demand element until new technology takes its place, like the demise we will shortly see with internal combustion engine.
