Agreed, manufacturers will also require high purity Cu for EVs. Expensive to achieve from recycling.
CCZs product will be in demand.
There's a lot to happen to get product to an EV though;
drilling, assays, confirmation there's ore, further drilling to confirm ore available, FEED (front end engineering and design), capital raise, tender process and finally construction.
Timing is everything, get this right and I can see CCZ will be coming on stream as the demand for copper spikes further.
