GTM has announced immediate moves to diversify into copper production and is using a discounted share offer of 7.5 cents to fund it. Shareholders may purchase up to $5,000 worth of shares at the discounted price. See the announcements for concrete details.

I likwe very much the divesrification strategy but wonder whether the share price will suffer short term. I also wonder whether more dilution is what we need just now, although agree with management's view that the current high price of copper presents an opportunity to be seized with alacrity.

What do others make of the announcement? Predictions for the share price today? Short term pull-back, long term impetus? Overall I take it as vey good news indeed but might feel more nervous if I was holding June options.
