Xstrada are currently drilling an anomoly on Gunsons block just east of the Chainti drill of 2 years ago, Chianti returned 2 metres of Copper at the excellent grades of 3.4% and it was this result that bought Xstrada [Noranda] to approach Gunson with a Joint Venture proposal.
Looking at the latest map on yesterdays Gunson announcement it can be seen that the Chianti drill is outside the more recently defined anomoly which is the work of Xstrada, also the Chianti drill was on the 400 metre "depth Contour" line and the new current drill is drilling on the 200 metre contour line seemingly at the peak of the anomoly which Chianti missed completely but still returned 2 metres at those great grades.
Very interestiong drill which has now been going for 2 days and should be nearly through the 200 metres defined cover [if accurate] could have an early result and Gunson are free carried.
