Donniedarko please we welcome all views, pro and against but lets get a few facts straight:
ORD are drilling now at site with full approvals from CALM. ORD have never claimed that the sand volcanoes were “lumps of malachite” they are de-watering sites for mineralized fluids and provide an easily observable indication of where the mineralization is likely to be, and subsequently, substantially reduces the risk in drilling.
The Bougainville is such a hot political situation I doubt anyone would be interested at the present time. However until Somara (after winning the election) sorts it out not much is going to happen. BTW ORD with full Chinese (CNMIM) backing does have substance
