Its interesting how in that report he refers to the uptake in housing in US leading to higher demand.. True, but not as much as it would have say a decade ago.
With fibre optic replacing copper in new sub-divisions and new wiring systems in houses using a lot less copper (more like wiring harnesses in cars). They don't use copper pipes for plumbing (as much) anymore...this high tech plastic stuff with the hot conveniently red and the cold blue!
Of course you are never going to replace copper as a conductor , but do wonder how these changes will effect demand long term?!
