Pretty amazing how people are pinning their hops for OZL gaining tomorrow on laughable things such as AIG results and the Dow.

You guys aren't understanding that the fall in OZ isn't all because of the zinc price, it can't be. Zinc has fallen far more and OZ matched in production not to even mention its Copper/Gold/Nickel output.

If co's with big divisions in Zinc have fallen this much then why are Teck Cominco's shares only down just over 20 per cent? That thing has massive Zinc operaitons and its revenue in making copper/gold etc are getting hurt by the strong Canadian dollar.

I don't buy OZ's share free-fall on just the Zinc price, something else is up. Either some hedge fund managers have worked out OZ's numbers don't add up or just insane amounts of speculation that this company will default despite profitable operations and a big warchest...
