Actually the company states its an "IOCG System". Which means they found the right environment, however they don't appear to have found any copper.

Copper would be visible in the core as chalcopyrite or bornite. Gold wouldn't be visible so may turn up on assays.

Interesting that they made the comparison to Palabora. Palabora is one of the richest deposits on earth and contains a whole array of minerals - copper, gold, uranium, nickel, magnetite, vermiculite, apatite, titanium, rare earths etc...

The Palabora deposit is hosted in an alkaline igneous complex comprising mainly pyroxenite with occurrences of pegmatites, foskorite and carbonatite. It seems that the copper is located within the carbonatite pipe.

Interesting also that the Dimaatina project contains pyroxenite which is an ultramafic rock. As mentioned above Palabora contains nickel also.

So in addition to gold assays could also turn up rare earths and uranium and potentially nickel (can sometimes be hard for geo's to distinguish nickel from pyrite).
