We should not underestimate the latest BHP result and outlook. One of the most profitable companies in the world has told us that BHP could generate $30 billion of cash flow over the next three years. Commodity prices will remain high during this time.
Australian resource companies will be buoyed by this outlook and have a once in a lifetime opportunity to establish themselves.
Who will be the next BHP?

BHP is so far ahead of the competition it is not funny.
Diversity is where BHP excells.
RIO does very well(the Number 2 contender) but has no money in oil.
The next BHP is far, far away(years at least).
If I had to pick one I would say Jubilee Mines(JBM).
WMR would be top of the list but I fear it will be taken over by overseas money.
