I guess you mean that none have been discovered. Suggesting that none exist is a stretch. Africa has largely been under developed/explored because of sovereign risk but you'd reckon China are perfectly placed to develop projects in dodgy countries (arms for minerals). Plenty of copper on the Congo side of the copper belt for China to go and develop.
