Copper company take-overs like BHP & Oz Minerals or Gold-Copper companies Newmont & Newcrest pending take-over in corporate Australia are just more examples of rearranging deck chairs on a cruise ship. Big miners are just getting bigger with their Tier 1 mines. New deposits need to be added to the mix to allow global copper resources to increase to meet future energy needs!!!
Therefore, the incentives to explore for more copper and develop new copper resources is very powerful. AW1 Storm project may offer the ingredients for new copper pounds being added to the global copper reserves. Time will tell.
