I looked up those two Chilean copper mines you indicated went on strike after labor contract talks failed during the week: Codelco's Andina copper mine and JX Nippon Copper's Caserones mine.
Andina and Caserones produced 184,000 and 127,000 tonnes of copper respectively during 2020.
Analysts at the Jefferies Group said during the week that global copper supply will continue to fall short of expectations regardless of strikes and that a lack of copper supply growth should be positive for copper prices.
Copper prices are currently only ~10% below the record high of US$10,747 per tonne (US$4.87/lb) set during May 2021.
