There have been a few posters questioning why the Aeris share price has not continued to rise? Looking back, on March 12th the Aeris share price was 11.0 cents. On March 14th the copper price closed above $4.00 USD/lb for the first time in many months. The share price and the copper price rose quickly for a month and on April 12th the share price finished at 27.0 cents and the copper price at $4.27 USD/lb. For the last month up till May 12th the share price has range traded between 24.5 and 29.5 cents, whilst the copper price has continued to rise closing at $4.65 USD/lb on Friday. That 38 cent rise in the copper price translates to a $38 million improvement in NPAT over a 12 month period at a 30kt annual copper production rate (which is what Aeris has been consistently projecting to deliver).

Confidence in management most likely and replace Andre. Because they really screwed up and don’t deserve extra chances. Most other businesses and they would be out the door for almost bankrupting us. It’s just lucky the copper price has rebounded. I do agree we should be 40c plus right now though. It will come as confidence returns imo.
