A great night for Aeris, copper almost reached its all time high.
Copper closed up at US$4.91/Ib
Note: during intra-day trading the copper price hit a 12 month high of US$5.03/Ib, this was the third day in a row of a new 12 month high
- trading volumes were off the charts with contracts written 162% above the daily avg, that is almost three times the normal volumes which are elevated anyway.
Gold closed up at US$2,357/oz
Zinc eased to close at US$2,992/tonne
