Thanks for the regular market updates but the price that AIS gets is a little more complicated.
It is not sold at the mine but later, on cargo basis at the shipping port.
The concentrate is loaded into mineral containers at the mill into mineral containers, which are half the height of regular TEU containers and trucked to the Hermidale rail siding.
Here it is loaded onto train 8402, which runs from either Cobar or Hermidale, 2 or 3 day a week to Carrington, Newcastle
The train loading includes concentrate from Cobar region, Hera Mine, lead and zinc, as well as Tritton copper. The containers are tipped into segregated storages at the terminal awaiting shipping. They are then loaded a ship moored on Berths Dyke 1 and 2.
My understanding the cargo is priced at this point on a provisional basis with a later correction payment or bill after assay at the refiner with credits for gold and silver and penalties for unwanted impurities..
This makes the income rather lumpy with the price set by a formula determined around the shipping date.
My [personal observations so do not use it as investment advice. DYOR
