I learned about US holiday Junteenth Day, celebrated on 19th June each year to celebrate the end of slavery in the Texas on 19th June 1865 and leading to the overall end of slavery across the US.
Hence US markets were closed with little movement on indexes.
Copper rose to close at US$4.51/Ib
Gold was essentially flat at US$2.328/oz
Zinc rose marginally to close at US$2,864/tonne
