He moves a few fielders squarer of the wicket then commences his delivery stride.
It's a slow ball wide of off stump. Andre Labuschagne, captain and opening batter for the Aeris Colonists, sees the ball early and charges down the strip. The bat cuts through the air, forsaking technique in a rather arragant attempt to loft the ball back over the bowler's head.
I've never seen such a poor shot, declares a retail shareholder as the ball easily beats the bat and crashes into the wicket keeper's glove.
Andre is well out of his crease and STUMPTED......by at least $200 Million. It's a long lonely walk as Andre's dischevelled figure makes its way to Diggers and Dealers.
