Dr Victor Runenno in his book titled the "mining Valuation Handbook" describes oxide ore "ore that has been oxidised by exposure to air and circulating ground waters. During the process, sulphide minerals break down to iron and other metal oxide minerals".
So, if you're luck to have a mineralised system that has some depth to it, it's likely the oxide material will figuratively be the icing on the (sulphide) cake.
