That's why the jawboning is essential for them to drive the market as most media concentrate on current inflation. None of them do a good job though do they? My own personal view is that we'll see a decade of nothingness as countries, businesses and individuals try to pay their debts. Copper will still be very much in demand albeit at a lesser rate.
Regardless, the FED sets policy on anticipated inflation...
