"In the poll, 76 per cent of respondents wanted the state to achieve net zero carbon emissions, but only if it didn’t cost them anything extra. The majority of voters said they were willing to pay something to reduce emissions, but the tipping point where majority support for the initiative fell away was at $4.75 a week, which is less than $250 a year."
